While some Logicbroker customers tightly integrate our platform and manage this entirely inside their Order Management System, ERP, or other internal systems, many Logicbroker customers prefer to use our “omnisearch” features to quickly and easily look up orders, shipments, invoices, returns, inventory, products, and other documents directly within our platform. This saves organizations like Walgreens hours every week by having all the data about their dropship program easily searchable within our platform.
Legacy platforms frequently limit you to searching by order number, supplier ID, and if you are lucky, a handful of header-level fields, Logicbroker’s “omnisearch” capabilities allow you to search data across the entire business document, product record, or inventory feed to easily find what you are looking for.
What Omnisearch Looks Like
As a prime example, let’s say your customer calls in to inform you that they have not received their order, but they do not have their order number and they forgot if the order was going to be shipped to their home or their office, but they know their name and when they placed the order on 6/13.
With Omnisearch you can easily find: “Jeff Norris Order” on 6/13. In this example, it looks like part of the order has shipped and part of your order hasn’t shipped yet is expected to be delivered tomorrow. You can let Jeff know you will reach out to the supplier to request that the shipping be expedited and reach out to him if there should be any changes.
In another example, your supplier, Universal Electronic, has made you aware that late last night a warehouse worker backed a forklift into the last pallet of item “JNA-56-78” and the products were destroyed. Due to a processor shortage, unfortunately, they won’t be able to manufacture more of the product for another month. You need to quickly identify how many orders are impacted and proactively reach out to the customer to save the sale.
Just simply search: “universal electronic order JNA-56-78” to find the right information.
