Effortlessly Control Partnerships And Brand Reputation With The Partner Management Center

For retailers and brands, half of the commerce battle is simple communication. Communication channels with your suppliers and partners can range from email chains to phone calls, with seemingly no way to monitor or store that information. Orders can get lost through the systems either partner uses and, when there is an immediate need for action, having open communication becomes mission-critical. 

To help curb the stem of misinformation and confusion some of our clients were experiencing, Logicbroker unveiled the Partner Management Center (PMC). PMC is Logicbroker’s way of consolidating and storing all partner communications and management in one central location, built directly into the Logicbroker Portal. 

Instead of relying on email chains, phone calls, and thousands of Google/LinkedIn searches to find pertinent partner information, Logicbroker consolidates those channels into one, easy-to-use management center. 

Key Features of the Partner Management Center


While communication control is central to all partner management, there are additional key features that highlight the power of the PMC, as well as its flexibility:

Pause/Turn off Partners – To better support organizations looking for more accountability, the Partner Management Center makes it easy to review partnerships based on a number of parameters. Temporarily suspend a partner for things like not meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In addition, you can use this feature to help our suppliers who request a suspended partnership for store closures, supply chain issues, or warehouse disruptions. 

Map Role-Based Contact Information – Gone are the days where you call the only contact you have for a supplier and hope for the best. The Partner Management Center supports the collection of multiple contacts per company based on user role (I.E. merchant, eCommerce operations, etc). These roles will help facilitate easier communication and help filter unnecessary communications with those who cannot help. 

Warehouse Location Information – To better facilitate supply chain management, Logicbroker offers warehouse location visibility to create more efficient product sourcing for the merchandising teams on our network. With just a bit of manual input from your partners, the PMC can track and monitor warehouse locations for quick product mapping. Instead of hoping your partner can fulfill orders on time, protect your brand reputation with the PMC and ensure suppliers are correctly located for easy fulfillment. 

Supplier Information – It may seem simple, but having the ability to see everything about your partner in one pane of glass is vital. The Partner Management Center gives retailers the ability to collect and store all supplier’s information pertinent to their business. Everything from hours, phone numbers, contact agreements, and more can be stored securely in the PMC, allowing retailers to see everything without leaving the Logicbroker portal. 

Using the Partner Management Center

For example, let’s say there is a leading Electronics retailer in San Diego, California looking to expand its partnerships, hold partners accountable to SLAs, and ensure optimal customer experiences. As a Logicbroker client, they have access to the Partner Management Center. 

Here, the Electronics Retailer can easily monitor their supplier’s fulfillment operations and all communications. Let’s say Supplier X has missed their last 3 orders and has several more delays, Electronics Retailer can easily both suspend their partnership and reach out to the pertinent contact at Supplier X to understand how to remedy the situation. 

Once a workable fix is in place, the Electronics Retailer simply has to turn them back on and orders can once again flow through both systems. If the situation goes deeper than that, the Electronics Retailer can both visualize Supplier X’s warehouses and find other suppliers in their network in nearby areas to take the workload. If orders are coming through in the LA area, the Electronics Retailer can easily swap to a supplier with a nearby distribution center. 

Future Partner Management Center Enhancements

Coming sooner rather than later, PMC retailers can expect to see more metrics and badges for their partners. These badges will highlight a supplier/partner’s ability to ship on time, response rate, and more. With these badges, retailers can even categorize suppliers based on performance and other criteria important to their business. 

In addition, we will be updating the Partner Management Center to allow these three features:

  1. Vendor Document Management – The PMC will act as a storage mechanism for signed, legal binding agreements to improve transparency within the program. Communications and document storage will be handled directly in the PMC. 
  2. Closure Data – Use closure data to support accurate document processing time for acknowledgments and shipments. 
  3. Warehouse Inventory Allocations – Support inventory quantity per warehouse location and warehouse management through the PMC.
