Connected Commerce 2019 Recap
By Logicbroker | September 26, 2019
It’s hard to believe Connected Commerce 2019 has come and gone. Before we get into the full event recap, we wanted to thank all of our wonderful speakers, sponsors, and attendees. We’re so glad that we could learn and celebrate the future of digital commerce with you!
Welcome Breakfast
The doors to The Bell Tower opened at 8:00 AM, and guests were greeted at our registration table with a swag bag filled with goodies including notebooks, water bottles, webcam covers, issues of Wine Enthusiast magazine, and of course, a Logicbroker T-Shirt.
Attendees were able to mingle over coffee and a continental breakfast before being seated for the first general session. We kicked off the event with our ‘This is Connected Commerce’ video before George Heudorfer took to the stage to welcome attendees and introduce the event emcee.
General Sessions
Throughout the day, attendees gathered to hear sessions on topics ranging from retail commerce unified and how to consistently connect your customers to your brand to how the future of eCommerce depends on last mile innovation and platform updates from Logicbroker.
Our Keynote Speaker was Adam Strum, Founder and Chairman/C.E.O. of Wine Enthusiast Companies and Editor and Publisher of Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Adam presentation spanned the 40 year journey of Wine Enthusiast Companies as they adapted new technologies, implemented drop ship, and their continued dedication to innovate and curate new media assets to engage with their audience.
An attendee favorite was when our CEO’s face was photo-shopped onto Elvis Presley’s head! Check out a slide screenshot below…we’re still laughing!
During our scheduled networking breaks, all attendees could head up to our sponsor mezzanine to learn more about our terrific partners.
Awards + Raffle
After our Keynote Presentation, we announced the winners of our first Connected Commerce Awards. A big congratulations again to our ‘Partner of the Year’ winner, ShipStation, ‘Retailer of the Year’ winner, Sears, and ‘Brand of the Year’ winner, Unique USA.
For the annual post-event raffle, we gave away a Fossil Smartwatch and Apple AirPods. Congratulations to our winners – we hope you enjoy your new tech goodies!
Peyman had just enough time to deliver his famous EDI joke before we started our happy hour – sponsored by Something Digital. Guests were treated to passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails including Something Boozy – Jack Daniels and Lemonade and Gear Goose and Soda – Grey Goose Vodka with a splash of soda water. In true Tennessee style, we even had a whiskey tasting!
After Party
Later in the evening, we reconvened at BB King’s for an evening of live music, dancing, southern food, and drinks – sponsored by Forter. Forter’s signature cocktail – The Fortertini – was a white cranberry cosmo accented with a light up ice cube! We even had a recording booth for guests to record covers of some of their favorite songs.
We enjoyed spending time with our valued customers and partners, and so look forward to another fun event next year. To relive some of the excitement, check out the event wrap-up video.{{cta(‘c20caaa7-c6b8-4832-8519-4e727ea32fa4′,’justifycenter’)}}
